I normally don’t think of this site as being for “news”, but this was a pretty big deal.

Tom Silverstein reports that Tramon Williams’ injury, which looked pretty bad live, is no more than a bruise and he just might play against Carolina next week.

As much as we all love Sam Shields, I don’t think he’d have as much success covering the best receivers teams have to offer on a consistent basis. Not yet anyway. Not to mention Jarrett Bush, who has undoubtedly improved and fought his way out of being the whipping boy of Packer fans over the past few years, but who I still don’t feel is a good cover corner.

Just a big relief overall, especially after the ridiculously terrible injury luck of last year.
