Last thing I expected was a complete game from Nelson. That's the surest way to keep the bullpen from blowing it.

Good thing the Brewers won today because the Cubs turned their season around with a dominating 7-1 win over the Pirates to get themselves back to .500.

Hell of a start by Nelson.
Big time performance.

The Cubs must be getting dizzy considering how many times they have turned their season around!

So Garza gets a lead and promptly walks the leadoff hitter and now they are behind.
He seems to do that a lot.

I'm sure not going to miss Garza when he's gone. His starts virtually gauarantee a 3 1/2 hour game and more often than not those marathons end in a loss.

Garza' s MO is to put the leadoff man on and then fuss around for the rest of the inning.

McCutchen's HR should put this one away. 2 hours into the game and it's only the top of the sixth.

Wonder if this is the last time we see him in a brewer uniform.

At least there won't be any late inning disappointment tonight.

Time to ditch Peralta too.

This team just cannot develop pitching for the life of them.

Let's hope this isn't the series that brings Pittsburgh back into it

Tough night for Thames.
Chased a lot of pitches out of the zone which he usually doesn't.

Yeah, hopefully this was just a bad pitching matchup with the Pirates best pitcher against one of the Brewers worst. Don't want to lose 3 or 4 of 4 against anyone, but especially a division opponent.

McCutchen has gotten hot recently so that will be something to watch.
