THE CORNBOWL GAME

Postby KegMan » Thu Oct 27, 2016 4:37 pm

Okay, they probably make a little more corn than we do, but it is apropos.

I heard Cichy is out for the year.

Neither of our QBs have given me the impression that they could lead the Badgers on a must score drive. And, I don't like platooning. And, why oh why does it seem Chryst thinks he's got a Heisman throwing QB when calling plays.

The Badgers are making lots of little mistakes.

Nebraska believes. I know they haven't really played anybody, but there victory over Oregon is looking to be equally as impressive as ours over LSU and MSU.

We need this one. I hope Chryst has them ready to play.

Somehow, some way we win.

Badgers are favored by 9 and should cover. I would guess something like 24-10.

Nebraska has been consistently unimpressive against weak opponents. I mean, having to come from behind in the 4Q to beat Illinois? And only leading Purdue 17-14 after 3Q last week? Since losing to Nebraska, Oregon has lost 4 more in a row, giving up over 50 points a game, and that's Nebraska's "big" win.

The Badgers are in the driver's seat for the division title and a B10 title game appearance against OSU, Michigan, or Penn State.

You don't make me feel confident Wisblue.

I agree Bucky should be in the driver's seat for a rematch with you, but our quarterbacks are - well just as bad as always.

But look at our big wins: LSU not exactly the world beaters we thought we'd beat (although I enjoyed that day) and MSU a lot like Oregon. And, look at our losses: Big Blue dominated the game - predominantly because our quarterback only made 2 good passes and you'se guys missed 3 field goals. OSU we should have had, but we couldn't contain one running, mobile, athletic quarterback - what does Nebraska have?

We need this one. Hopefully, Chryst will have something on the plate.

I have too many State Friends to wish you more than a half hearted good luck this weekend and keep my head.

I just don't think Nebraska is very good.

The Badgers could get a battle at Northwestern but after that Illinois, Purdue, and Minnesota are really awful.

My logical side tells me Michigan should beat MSU on talent, but I've been around long enough to know that the Spartan team that plays Michigan is often not the same one that plays everyone else. And, speaking of bad QB''s, I don't trust Speight to carry the team against anyone who stacks the box to stop the run.

UW's offense is terrible, and eventually it will cost them.

Got away with it last week. Won't tonight.

This offense is hideous.

Hornibrook, again, is terrible.

It's simply amazing that we cannot get a qb.

Wasington's qb might have more TD passes than we have completions.

Terrible QB plus terrible O line plus terrible field position equals disaster.

It's amazing we got out of the hole. But, their D line is manhandling our O line

No, this offense sucks.

Totally blew it last possession. Prime FP, all the momentum, a pathetic 3 and out.

These two QBs are fucking horrific and should apologize to the rest of the team for ruining what really could've been a special season.

These guys are both total trainwrecks.

Unfortunately that could be ballgame.

NE's worst us to pin us again. Damn.

Why oh why can't we get a qb? That was completely blanketed with a small blanket double coverage.
