BUCKY at SPARTY - HOW ARE WE GONNA PULL THIS OFF?

Postby KegMan » Wed Sep 21, 2016 5:46 pm

After last week's doldrums and with our new quarterback controversy, how are we going to upset Sparty?

The LSU win was encouraging, but I just don't see it. Sparty's coming off a huge performance against Notre Dame and we're coming off the opposite. Who the hell knows. It's probably about time we get the big bounce and pull off the unbelievable.

We're not.

I don't bet but I would be tempted to drop $100 on Sparty.

Bucky is still a couple of years away of being able to beat the big boys consistently.

I think we're a QB away.

I just read the red shirt freshman got the nod. Hopefully, win or lose he grabs the reigns and sets Bucky on a good path.

I know we cannot hive the ball away like we have and beat Sparty.

I'm going with my heart. We're winning this weekend.

Anywhere between -3 1/2 to -5 for Sparty... completely agree with your thinking.

This could easily be a 14 to 21 point loss. Lost some faith in the D against Georgia State... and the offense was just pathetic. Hoping Clement back can help them a bit... but I don't see it as being enough. Plus Hornibrook's first start... and its a road game.

It was the first time the Lions went a game without a punt since 1971.

The Badegrs match up well with Sparty because the UW defense should be able to contain the power running and MSU's QB is no great shakes. As long as the Badgers can avoid the big mistakes and prevent big plays it should be a close, and I would expect relatively low scoring, game similar to the LSU game. To me, it's a tossup. I would be pretty depressed if MSU is good enough to rout the Badgers.

Well, I was wrong. I thought MSU would give the Badgers a game.

Now I wonder if Michigan with their porous offensive line and noodle armed QB can do any better.

Color me completely shocked.

Guess I read too much into last week against GA St... and the Spartans win at South Bend.

I really wonder how Houston won the starting QB spot... Hornibrook is damn accurate. Credit to Chryst for making the change last week and sticking to it.

Could we see Wisconsin vs Michigan in primetime on ABC next week?

I think Chryst handled this perfectly. Gave the Senior a shot but the youngster is just to much better.
